Swachatha Abhiyan

Activities conducted - 11-15th September – 2023

Swachhata Shapath – Oath was taken in the school assembly by teachers and students on 11-9-23.

Importance on cleanliness across the classes and school, wastage of water, importance of proper handwashing was spoken in classes by teachers.

Children made slogans and banners on “Ban plastic in school”, “Flush toilet after use”, “ Keep the classroom clean” – was propogated effectively.

Children learnt the importance of cleanliness and hygiene practices in the school.

Students of classes 1 – 4 actively took part in cleanliness awareness drive in school premises and did activities like;

1) Children took banners with slogans on cleanliness across the corridors of school
2) Picking up the garbage and using dustbins for the same
3) Learning how to flush the toilets properly and doing the same
4) Separating dry and wet garbage and using the dustbins accordingly both at home and school
5) They practiced on how to close the taps properly in the washrooms and that how every drop of water is important
6) They learnt that doing cleanliness in their surroundings and in society is equal to Godliness
